Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Built By PELT LLC (“BuiltByPELT,” “we,” “us”) collects through builtbypelt.com, our phone line and our assistant Kirk, and what we do with it. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• What you send us. Your email address when you use a form; your name, phone number and anything else you choose to share when you call, text or email us.
• Free website check. Your business name, your website address, your email or phone, and your name if you give it. We use them only to make and send your scorecard and to answer you. To make the scorecard we look only at your public web pages; we don’t log in, submit forms or change anything.
• What you type to Kirk. Kirk is the AI assistant on this site. We keep the messages you send and Kirk’s replies so we can follow up and improve answers.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time) for security and to keep the site running.

We don’t ask for payment details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information on this site. Please don’t send them to Kirk.

How we use it

• To answer your question and follow up about the work you asked about.
• To send you texts or emails you asked for (see our SMS Terms for texting).
• To keep the site secure, fix problems and improve what we offer.

AI processing

Kirk’s answers are generated by a third-party AI model provider. What you type or say to Kirk (including the voice demo) is processed by that provider to produce a reply. Kirk can be wrong; confirm anything important with us directly.

Phone calls

Calls to and from our business line may be recorded and transcribed so we have accurate notes. We say so at the start of the call; if you’d rather not be recorded, tell us and we’ll talk another way.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that run our business for us (website hosting, database, email, our phone and text provider, and the AI model provider) under their own privacy and security terms, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and chat records as long as we need them to work with you and run the business, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

• Ask what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected].
• Stop texts any time by replying STOP. Stop emails by replying “unsubscribe.”

Children

This site is for businesses and isn’t meant for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
